DeoxIT® Gold contact cleaner is a fast-acting solution that keeps your electrical plugs and sockets sparkly clean and free from discolouration and contamination. This pocket-sized 2ml tube is an improvement on the standard D-series version in that it adds a protective outer coating and dissolves more serious corrosion built up over plugs and sockets. Use DeoxIT Gold for a first application and apply D-Series in the long-term is our advice.

The tube emits just a droplet of solution at a time; more than enough needed to rub onto the socket or plug with a small cloth or cotton wool bud. The DeoxIT lubricant can also be used on joints or other metal surfaces to reduce wear and abrasion.

Not only does DeoxIT remove the nasty spotting and discolouration of metal connectors, regular use of DeoxIT contact cleaner really breathes life into an old system for hardly any outlay. It's impossible to eliminate impurities like oxygen having a degrading effect on your copper and gold-plated plugs and sockets so a quick buff with a droplet of DeoxIT every so often is all you need to do. After all, you'd never leave your car for years without even a peek under the bonnet, so why neglect your hi-fi or AV kit. It's easy to keep on top of and will keep you enjoying music or movies sounding their best for years.
