'KNOCKS CHEAPO EXTENSIONS INTO A COCKED HAT.'

Strengths:

I've regained the full fidelity from my SR80s, which was missing previously when using cheap, thin extension cables, and can now enjoy my music in my armchair rather than perching uncomfortably near my hifi.

Weaknesses:

Rather bulky cable, but worth it.

Overall:

An excellent purchase. Although an extra half metre or so of cable on my SR80s - which is there on my Sennheisers - would have rendered an extension unnecessary.

'EXCELLENT PRODUCT TO COMPLEMENT GRADO'S HEADPHONES'

Strengths:

Good and long, so I can sit on the other side of the room in comfort to listen. No detectable loss of sound quality (in contrast to a cheaper high street extension cable)

Weaknesses:

None found after a couple months.

Overall:

This is an excellent headphone extension cable which is able to give you more freedom to sit comfortably while listening with no detectable loss in sound quality ( to these ears anyway!). The length seems initially excessive but that allows you to trail it on the floor and arrange it for comfort rather than have it hanging from your head. I had been using a cable bought from a high street shop and when I plugged in the Grado cable the difference in sound quality was immediately clear. The build is very good as well - sturdy cable and connectors. Strongly recommended as an accessory for quality headphones.
