The special carbon conductor coaxial First Ultimate cable is a threefold heavier shielded version of The First. The First Ultimate is designed for high quality (unbalanced/asymetric) line level audio and SPDIF digital audio connections. It gives extended low level information, a total lack of any harshness and a clean sound reproduction.
The First Ultimate is a favourite of What Hi-Fi for high-end systems. In their 2003 Ultimate Guide all Hi-Fi system over £4000 were tested using the First Ultimate.
