Blue Heaven interconnects consist of thirty separate conductors of 99.99999% OFC plated with silver in micro litz construction to reveal the depth and beauty of music. Subtle, refined yet detailed, these cables bring a new sense of realism to recorded music. They come terminated with Nordost's Moonglo RCA plugs, which use a spring loaded collar to make the ground connection before the signal. This prevents speaker damage if the amplifier is left on when the interconnect is installed. The connector uses brass with hard gold plating for excellent corrosion resistance.

'QUALITY IC AT SLIGHTLY LESS OUTLAY THAN THE OTHER "BIG 2"'

Strengths:

Beautifully detailed,adds "breathiness" good non exagerrated mid, and tight bass.

Weaknesses:

None imo.

Overall:

Looking to swop away from my Chord Chameleon 2, i auditioned the "big 3" Chord Chorus, VDH 1st Ultimate, and the Nordost. To my ears there was little if any difference in quality in all 3, with perhaps the VDH seeming slightly more "tamed "overall. The Chorus is a wonderful cable, but, if price is taken into account as well (especially if you need 3 identical cables as i did!) the slightly cheaper Nordost blue comes out winner. I pesonally found very little difference between the Chord and the Nordost,and found the sweet treble absolutely wonderful. Some say it is thin in the bass, come and listen to my system, you wont say that again.
