A Skybox can be connected to a TV in a number of ways:

If your TV has SCART in then you simply require a SCART to SCART lead. You can buy one of these by clicking here.

If you have a Plasma then you may not have a SCART input and the highest quality option is to use a SCART to VGA convertor. This device connects a SCART equipped product (e.g. DVD) to the 15 pin D-Sub (VGA) input on your plasma. These devices take the Red, Green and Blue signals from the SCART and generate the additional horizontal and vertical synchronisation signals required by the VGA input on the plasma. Many of these devices have problems with compatibility with the synchronisation rates of plasmas. However, the Presenter 1 RGB to XGA convertor that we sell does not suffer from these problems. You can buy these convertors by clicking here .

If neither of these options are available to you, and your TV has a s-video input then we recommend that you use this. Whilst all the magazines correctly say that RGB is higher quality than s-video, our own tests have proved that the differences are in practise very subtle and s-video produces a very acceptable quality provided the lead is no longer than 3.0M. You can get a SCART to s-video cable from here .

The last option is to use the composite video input but this should be avoided if possible as the quality is not particularly good.
