The New QED Performance HDMI. Now with a better name. Although they have dropped the 'E' off the end of the name, this cable still has the built in Ethernet channel. As with the Reference HDMI, QED have been working hard to reduce the jitter effect on images. The lower the jitter the better the image and movement are. The jitter, if particularly bad will be picked up very obviously by the eye, however the QED Performance goes further for very low jitter. This results in a faster, smoother, sharper image display, really making a difference to those action blu-rays or HD sports channels. Now dressed in a carbon black finish and purple plug, the QED Performance HDMI looks and feels more solid in its construction. Although the previous cable was never a bad one, we believe this could get the other competitors worried.
