So here it is the direct replacement for the long named Performance HDMI-E Super Speed HDMI. The new QED Reference HDMI uses as new passive band pass filter which is intended to provide outstanding digital signal for superb sound and picture quality. The Reference HDMI, like its predessesor is High Speed with Ethernet. It also has the obligatory Ethernet Channel, Audio Return Channel and the 3D Compatibility. Which are all specifications we come to expect at this level and price range. One of QED's main aims through the production of their new cable was to reduce jitter, which cannot really be seen by the human eye, but it makes the difference between a good smooth sharp images, and a grainy slow, blurred image. Having had a look at the cable, just holding it in our hands, it feels more robust and you can sense that a lot of attention and care has been put in to this cable. We are expecting big things from the new QED HDMI's as competition has got a lot more fierce.
