The CYP AU-D21 is an optical switcher (with standard Toslink inputs and outputs). It allows you to connect two optical devices into an A/V Amplifier or television with a single optical input. The CYP AU-D21 offers a completely reliable and loss-less audio signal transmission.It can even amplify a digital signal for a further 5.0m. This can be very useful if you have an older A/V amplifier with a single optical input, but have a couple of sources that you want to use, with out having to swap and remove the cables as and when you need to. The CYP AU-D21 is discreet and can be hidden away due to its small footprint.

Supports S/PDIF standard of digital audio transmission.
Amplifies digital Optical (Toslink) output, extending another 5 metres.
Accepts uncompressed 2-channel LPCM (Linear
Pulse Code Modulation) & compressed 2-channel and multi-channel Dolby and DTS audio signal.
Electromagnetic noise-free transmission.
