Atlas Equator Bi-Wire OFC Speaker Cable is a 4-core Bi-Wire version of the Atlas Equator speaker cable.
Unlike many bi-wire cables that use identical conductors, those on the Atlas Equator Bi-Wire are made as pairs optimised for bass and treble.
The Atlas Eqautor Bi-Wire uses 2.0 sq mm conductors for the bass and 1.2 sq mm for the treble.
Equator Bi-Wire OFC Speaker Cable Details:
- Low Frequency carrier: 2.0 sq mm 99.9997% pure oxygen free copper concentric multi-stranded conductors
- High Frequency carrier: 1.2 sq mm solid oxygen free copper conductors
- Laid in a twisted fashion to avoid the adverse effects of EMI and provide improved resistance to the proximity effect
- Low loss high density foamed polypropylene dielectric
- Conductors laid in a bed of cotton yarn to cut out microphony
- Outer Diameter: 9.00 mm
- Colour: Pearl White
- Resistance (Ohms/m @ 20°C) : 0.0095
- Capacitance (pF/m) : 85.54
- Inductance (µH/m @ 1 kHz) : 0.56
Available per metre unterminated or terminated with Atlas Z-Plugs (suitable for banana or BFA terminals) as standard.
