Chord Leyline 2 speaker cable has been designed to offer good quality low loss signal transmission over extremely long runs. The conductors are constructed using polyethylene insulated, tin-plated, multi-stranded oxygen free copper.
Chord Leyline 2 is the only cable in the Chord range to use this form of conductor, and it was chosen after experimentation with long runs of cable showed that tin-plating helped to minimise high frequency signal loss.
The conductors are twisted along the length of the cable to help reduce interference.
