What we think
This is the first affordable power management solution we have seen that recognises that a high current device like an amplifier has different needs to a low current drawing device like a CD player. We have not seen any product before at this price level that has a dedicated socket for the amplifier.
NOTE: Many larger plasma screens and most traditional CRT televisions draw in excess of 100 watts so it is often not possible to connect both a screen and an amplifier to the 2 and 4 way versions at the same time. So if you are planning to use this product for a screen and an amplifier you need to check that only one or two devices that you have consume in excess of 100 watts. If you have two such devices you will need the 6 way hub.
