When I acquired a Topfield 5800 PVR I had a problem. My Sim2 Domino 20 projector only has one set of component video inputs and no SCART in, and my Topfield only RGB SCART out. How to get the Topfield signal to the projector and share the input between it and my DVD player? For the signal conversion I used the QED convertor, and to switch between component sources the BTECH BT947 component video switch with remote control. Problem solved; I genuinely can't detect any image degradation between native RGB out and the converted component video coming from the QED, and that is on a projected 8 foot image. One less reason to move from my sofa. If you need one, look no further. |
