What HiFi Five Stars
How do they compare with the Grado SR-60's?
Many people ask whether it's worth paying extra for the SR80i's, so we compared them back to back. We were mightily impressed: the SR80i's have a much tighter and more articulate bass (though not louder or lower) and in general instruments sounded more convincing with a much better insight into what the musician was doing. Worth another £15? In our opinion most definitely. We were listening with a very high quality system so don't expect the same results if you have a low end system- the SR60's could be better value for you.
