9 bunches of silver plated 99.999% HPCFC conductors wrapped in an ultra low loss LDPE insulation. Super Flex Design enables the cable to be routed where other esoteric cables cannot.

This is a big cable (16.6mm diameter) and not easily hidden.

A big cable that gives very strong and yet very controlled bass, mid range is very sweet and the cable is very suitable for rock, jazz and dance music.

Strengths:

Good clarity. Adds life to dull/warm sounding systems. Good shielding properties.

Weaknesses:

Takes a while to terminate. Thick and difficult to hide. DON'T use it with a bright system.

Overall:

Basically this has the sonic characteristics of Silver Anniversary but improved in every way. It has a bright overall presentation and is good for high end valve amplifiers where you want to reduce warmth and add resolution. Classic amplifiers of the 60's particularly so. Where it differs from the cheaper, silver plated QED cables is in the bass. It's not absent; it's clear and well controlled. An additional attraction for valve users is the high level of shielding so if you have problems with hum, it's a good choice.
